So I'm back.

Nobody has actually asked me directly to write a new blog entry... but there are times that I can just see it in their eyes.

"When?" their eyeballs say... "When are you going to write another rocking blog entry about your enlightened view of the world, and your amazing gamerscore???!?"

I 'think' that's what their eyes are saying... although it could be rage.

Anyway, my honeymoon was awesome.  I got to do three out of the five things I wanted to do.  To achieve the other two I may have to visit less civilised places... maybe Canada.

The Blue Man Group is excellent... see them immediately.  If you can't go to Vegas right now then buy their DVD.  I cannot describe just how good their show was... and I sound silly if I try because you need to string two or three really positive words together like Mega-Awesome, or Super-Massiv-Amazing.

Cirque du Soleil's: Ka was also high up on the impressiveness scale.  Imagine a regular circus with clowns and acrobats.  Now give their whole show a story.  Spend thousands of pounds on moving sets, and complex machinery.  Throw in swords, spears, and martial arts.  Then, finally, make them speak in a language no one understands.  Mix it all up and you have Ka... although it's probably slightly better than I describe it.

We did other stuff that I may talk about once Anna declassifies them in a few years time.

Onto bigger and better things.

I picked up the new D album the other day.  They're rocking as hard, if not harder, than ever.  Although it's short, it's pretty much what I'd describe as a masterclass in rock opera.  It's funny to boot.  They've missed out most of the little sketches betwen the songs, which I think is probably a good move.. the first album rocked pretty hard but the sketches got in the way after a while.

I've been playing Oblivion a lot trying to pick up some achievements but it's slow going for two reasons.  Firstly I seem to spend all my time burgling the poor computer controlled townsfolks houses... I don't know why.  Secondly the demons in Oblivion don't live by the demons code... rock-off challenges just don't seem to work on them.  I will get through it eventually though.

A funny story...
I spend a fair amount of time playing games and Anna has developed a habit of watching me... if the game has a strong story line then she enjoys it, if not she just goes to sleep on the sofa.  Everyone wins.

The other night I was playing Chrome Hounds which has no story as such, but I'm itching to try the multiplayer.  Anna slept through it.  The next morning she complained that she hadn't slept well.  In the early hours she'd woke up in a daze thinking their was a giant robot walking down the street outside...
As turns out it was me snoring...
Probably a good job I wasn't playing Splinter Cell or Resident Evil.

Anyway it's way past my bed time.  Gears of War should be here tomorrow so I need to be well rested.
